As the smoke clears and wildfire danger slows down in most areas, it is becoming clearer as to how much damage has been sustained over the past month.
Robert Turner, assistant deputy minister of Emergency Management BC says the preliminary surveys from regional districts show 305 structures have been lost.
No critical infrastructure has been lost, and these numbers are expected to rise as more areas clear from wildfire danger.
The areas hit the hardest was the Cariboo Regional District, which has 45 homes lost, along with 111 outbuildings.
The Thompson-Nicola district has seen the loss of one commercial building and 115 buildings that are yet to be identified.
Ashcroft First Nation Band lost 12 homes, one commercial building and one outbuilding.
