Yesterday saw yet another development in the on-going saga of bringing a pellet plant to Terrace.
After 3 month of ironing out details and logistics, Skeena Sawmills brought their proposal to build a plant to City Council.
The plan would see ROC Holdings Limited convert existing buildings on a neighbouring lot while also performing site enhancements and constructing support facilities.
The proposed plant would use natural gas burning and various other methods to insure the least impact possible on air quality in the city.
Council approved the development plan, which would see the deactivation of a largely unused water main on the site.
