Affordable housing unit for Indigenous Elders opens up in Prince George

A new affordable housing unit for Indigenous elders and seniors is now officially open in Prince George.

The three story building features 27 rooms and ammenities specifically designed around the needs of First Nations Elders.

Located at 1811 Spruce Street, the building will include accesibility features such as wider doorways, lower countertops, and wheel-in showers.

Rental rates range from 667 to 765 dollars per month and the building will be operated by the Aboriginal Housing Society of Prince George.
