The environment ministry and Northern Health have issued an Air Quality Advisory for Terrace due to pollution levels.
Officials say high levels of fine particulate matter are the cause for the advisory.
People with chronic underlying medical conditions should postpone strenuous exercise
until the advisory is lifted.
Officials recommend staying indoors and in air-conditioned spaces helps reduce the particulate exposure.
Exposer is more of a concern for infants, the elderly, those who have diabetes and lung, or heart disease.
Restrictions on open burning are now in effect for the Kalum Timber Supply Area until Sunday, November 12th at 9 PM
