Voters in the District of Chetwynd have elected Allen Courtoreille as mayor.
Courtoreille picked up 51.8% of the vote, defeating Alec Brownlee by 24 votes.
Rounding out council will be Mel Deck, Jocelyn Fisher, Clay Bassendowski, Laura Weisgerber, Rochelle Galbraith, and Janet Wark.
Former mayor and long-time councillor Merlin Nichols was the only candidate not elected.
