AltaGas officially opened its three run-of-river hydro projects in northwest BC this week.
The 195-megawatt Forest Kerr project came on stream last October and the 16-megwatt Volcano Creek facility was up and running in December.
The company says the 66-megwatt McLymont Creek facility is nearing completion and is expected to be brought online later this year.
All three projects are located in Tahltan territory and will connect to the BC Hydro grid through the Northwest transmission Line.
AltaGas officials were joined by Tahltan Central Council President Chad Day, aboriginal relations minister John Rustad, and energy and mines minister Bill Bennett for the ceremony Tuesday.
