Another dump of snow headed for northwest BC

Another big dump of snow is expected for parts of the Northwest.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Bulkley Valley and the Lakes with up to 25 cm by Thursday.

Forecasters say an Arctic cold front coming down from the north will collide with a Pacific warm front arriving from the south over the Bulkley Valley.

Light snow is expected Wednesday.  The weather office says it will taper off during the afternoon and then come back in the evening with 20-25cm expected by Thursday.

Environment Canada says Highway 16 between Smithers and Terrace will generally see light snow, but heavier accumulations are likely closer to Moricetown.

The snow is expected to slowly die back Thursday night and end by Friday.
