Applications for this year’s Community Crime Prevention Grants are now open.
Each year, the grants aim to eliminate unlawful activities by redirecting the proceeds of crime towards building safer and stronger communities.
This year’s funding will put a priority on community led crime-reduction initiatives which focus on: healing and rebuilding Indigenous communities, addressing domestic violence against women and children, human trafficking and sexual exploitation, child and youth advocacy centres, and improving justice programs.
The grant application process opens today and closes on December 14th, and you can apply by following this link.
How much funding is available will depend on the value of cases concluded by the Civil Forfeiture Office.
