An armed robbery in Smithers on Monday has police searching for a suspect.
RCMP were called to a 7-Eleven on Highway 16 early in the morning after a masked thief made off with a tray of lottery tickets and cash donation box after threatening the clerk with a knife.
Police were able to recover the knife and empty display tray near Heritage Park not long after the incident.
