Two Prince George residents have been charged with attempted murder for a shooting earlier this month.
Mounties arrested 26-year-old Ashlynn Noel Ruth Forrest and 33-year-old Jeff John Lapier Wednesday for a February 15th shooting at Moore’s Meadow park.
Police say the investigation has been difficult because people connected to the case have been reluctant to talk with RCMP over fear of retaliation.
The woman shot suffered serious injuries, but RCMP say she may soon be released from hospital.
Mounties say the investigation is far from over and investigators haven’t ruled out the possibility that other people may be involved.
The Prince George detachment says the shooting was not a random attack and that Moore’s Meadow and the surrounding area are safe.
