Terrace’s August building synopsis shows a year-to-date cost total of more than 7 million dollars less than the 10 year average.
So far in 2018, 10 million 205 thousand dollars has been spent across 112 permits in the city.
Despite being well below the 10 year average, the 2018 total is actually closer to the norm for the city.
A reported 38 million spent last year and 47 million in 2015 skew the average away from the 7-10 million dollar range of most other years.
In August 15 new permits were issued with a total value of just over 1.3 million dollars, compared to 23 permites for 4 million last August.
