Drivers can expect delays on Highway 16 between Terrace and Prince Rupert Wednesday.
The transportation ministry says avalanche control work is taking place 60 km east of Prince Rupert to 45 km west of Terrace between 9:00 a.m. and 6 p.m..
Delays of longer than 30 minutes are expected.
The route was closed for approximately eight hours Tuesday becuase of high avalanche risk.
