Walkers trekking from Manitoba to Prince Rupert raising awareness about missing and murdered indigenous people completed their journey yesterday afternoon.
Brenda Osborne and the other seven members covered over 3,400 kilometres since leaving Norway House earlier this summer.
The group were joined by supporters in Terrace and Prince Rupert as they completed the final leg of their journey.
Friendship House will be hosting a potluck reception at the Nisga’a Hall tonight to honour the walkers and those who have been lost.
The dinner starts at 5 and all are welcome to attend.
