NDP Opposition Leader John Horgan will be taking an RV “camping” touring through the Highway 16 corridor this week.
He’s starting off in Prince Rupert today and will be making stops Terrace, Hazelton, Smithers, Burns Lake, Vanderhoof, and Prince George.
He’ll also be speaking with the leadership of the Lax Kw’aalams and Gitanmaax First Nations.
The NDP press release announcing the tour takes a dig at Christy Clark for spending more than half a million dollars on private jets during her tenure as premier, and contrasts that with Horgan, who they say rather meet British Columbians on a road-trip.
John Horgan will be making a stop at CFNR during his Terrace stop.
