More than 900 thousand jobs are expected to open up in the province over the next decade, according to the BC Labour Market Outlook report for 2018.
77 percent of those openings will require some form of post-secondary education, says the report, released this morning.
Health-care and the social assistance industries are expected to see the biggest boom, with trades positions projecting the least openings across the decade.
Just 13 thousand of the forecasted openings are attributed to the North West and Nechako regions, the lowest of any region in BC.
