BC residents have responded to an appeal by the Canadian Red Cross with more than 159 thousand dollars donated at BC Liquor Stores since August 20th.
All of the funds raised will go directly towards wildfire relief efforts, with the provincial government matching all contributions.
With more than 9 thousand dollars in donations, BC Liquor Store customers in Terrace contributed the third most of any location.
