A flood relief project launched by BC Liquor stores in May has resulted in nearly 66 thousand dollars in flood relief funding.
All 197 stores participated in the initiative, which began on May 22nd and closed on June 24th, which was a response to drastic flooding following the quick snow melt this year.
Donations came in 2 and 5 dollar denominations from customers during the period and will go to the Canadian Red Cross.
