Provincial NDP opposition leader John Horgan has called out Premier Christy Clark for what he says is divisive language.
Recently, Clark has referred to the signatories of the Lelu Island Declaration as the “forces of no,” and a “rag tag” group.
Horgan says his road map to getting agreements on resource projects doesn’t include name calling.
He says for any project to be successful, they must meet four conditions.
British Columbians are first in line for project-related jobs, First Nations participation, clear benefits to BC, and strong environmental standards and stewardship.
