British Columbians have enjoyed the lowest unemployment rate in the country for 14 consecutive months, according to the October Labour Force Survey.
Released today, the Survey shows the province sitting at just 4.1 percent unemployment, thanks in part to an employment increase of 48 thousand over the past year.
On top of that, BC registered the third highest wage growth among provinces in October, after placing top 2 in 11 of the last 12 months.
Minister of Jobs Bruce Ralston isn’t taking anything for granted though, saying they will continue to work to improve BC’s already strong economy.
