A non-profit group could be making BC the equivalent of Florida for water mammals.
Based in the US, the Whale Sanctuary Project is keeping two sites in BC on the table as reserve locations for the world’s first whale and dolphin retirement home.
The home would be a place for whales and dolphins raised in captivity to spend the rest of their years in conservation style freedom.
