BC’s leading sasquatch hunter has had his dreams crushed by the BC Supreme Court.
Todd Standing has spent years researching and hunting the mythical creature, an endeavour which led him to sue the province of British Columbia.
The lawsuit was for the province’s failure, according to Standing, to recognize the creature as a protected animal, calling it dereliction of duty and saying they discriminated against his beliefs after he supplied sufficient evidence to prove the creautre’s existence.
Supreme Court Justice Kenneth Ball threw the claim out on Friday, claiming Standing had no legal standing for his claims, but Standing says he will continue to seek legal action.
