A simple bicycle stop in Quesnel yesterday led to the discovery of drugs and weaponry.
RCMP spotted a man riding a bike without a helmet early yesterday morning and pulled the man over.
Police then discovered that the biker had outstanding warrant for his arrest.
While making the arrest, a sawed off shotgun, ammunition, and what is believed to be heroin was found in the man’s possession.
Police are still assessing the proper charges for the matter and an investigation is on-going.
