A shocking act in a Prince George inner-city neighbourhood will leave many residents without access to books.
An incredibly popular pop-up library book box near Ron Brent Elementary School was discovered burnt to the ground earlier this week.
The box offered a way for local children and teens to swap reading material free of charge.
While school principal Dan Watt is hesitant to set up another installation without vandalism proofing it, he is pleased with the tremendous public response the project brought.
