Wildfires continue to cause problems for the Bulkley-Nechako as well as the Regional District issued further evacuation alerts and orders last night.
A 60 Hectare fire near Gilmore Lake, southwest of Topley, has prompted an evacuation order near Sunset Lake.
A larger area outside of the order has also been issued an evacuation alert.
A reception centre for those evacuated has been set up at the College of New Caledonia Campus in Burns Lake.
Residents near the Chutanli Lake Wildfire near Finger and Tatuk Lake also find themselves on standby as an evacuation alert has been issued for the area.
The 15 hundred hectare wildfire grew overnight as more than 20 firefighters and 3 helicopters battle the spreading flames.
According to Information Officer Brian Hearnden (Hurn-din), the cluster known as the Babine Complex is also still causing problems.
Hearnden says a community meeting will be held to discus options tonight at the Stellako New Hall.
Reception centers for these fires have been set up at the Fraser Lake Municipal Office and in Smithers at 4035 Walnut Drive.
