The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako are warning residents of increased flooding risks in the area.
With the warmer temperatures expected to stick around for some time, melting snow could put certain areas at hightened risks of flooding.
The District is asking residents to take a few precautions to prepare, including: having an emergency kit prepared that can support your family for up to a week, moving damagable property t higher levels, always be aware of flood risks, be aware of the effects on your geographic location, and make plans for pets and livestock.
