Kids day in the park-Terrace @ Elks Park

The Terrace Elks and Royal Purple present Kids Day in the Park on Monday, May 22nd, 2017 from 11am-2pm at the Elks Park on Agar Street. This event is for children aged 3-12. Events will include a treasure hunt, sack race, tug of war, basketball hoop, three-legged race, wheel barrel race, balloons and darts, bean bag throw and face painting. There will also be a bike contest: decorate your bike and win a cash prize! Remember, everyone is a winner. Judging is at noon, so don’t be late. 1st prize–$10. 2nd prize–$5. 3rd prize–$5. Each child will receive three tickets for a hot dog, ice cream, and a drink.

The Terrace Toastmasters Club #6062 is a Toastmasters International Club located within Toastmasters Area #45 in Division D, District 21. Our club was founded in 1985. Join Toastmasters and discover the difference 6 months can make in your confidence, career, and your boss’s regard!

There is no cost to attend as a guest and you can attend three times and there is no obligation to join. We can even introduce you to the group if you do not wish to speak.We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
