On Wednesday, November 14th at 6:30 pm there will be an information session for UNBC’s Bachelor of Education program. This will be at the UNBC Terrace campus at 4837 Keith Ave. Please join in to learn all about our B.Ed. program, including the various paths to enter it, its entrance requirements, and how to apply.
“The Kitimat Christmas Hamper Appeal is underway. Those people wishing to receive a Christmas hamper can pick up an application form from the Kitimat Food Bank on Tuesdays & Thursdays between 1-3; Social Services Office, Food Share and Horizon House during their regular office hours. Hampers will be delivered on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15TH and completed request forms need to be returned by December 5th. Completed forms are to be dropped off at the Food Bank and, if closed, drop in the mail slot, or mailed to Box 20, V8C 2G6. We accept cash donations/cheques and these can be dropped off at the Food Bank, Envision Financial Credit Union where they can be receipted, or mailed to Box 20. Donations of non-perishable food items or unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at Envision Financial Christmas Tree or Kitimat Insurance Services Henning Tree, upper level of City Centre Mall, during regular hours of operation. We provide gifts for children 12 and under as well as for teens. Gift cards from our local businesses make great gifts for teens. Due to provincial Food Safe Rules for B.C. we are unable to accept home canned fish, fruit, vegetables etc. Thank you for your support.”
