“The Curious Savage” play production in the Veritas Gym: The Grade 9 Theatre Arts Class is presenting “The Curious Savage” a lovely comedy written by John Patrick, exploring the convoluted relationships between family and friends. Thursday, June 14 will be a Dessert Theatre Evening. Desserts will be sold for $10.00 and all proceeds from the dessert sales will be donated to the Kimmunity Angels. Tickets will be available at Misty River Books and at Veritas School office. Tickets are $15.00 and for children under 12, tickets are $10.00 each. Doors open at 7:00 and the performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a wonderful evening of theatre!

Smithers Art Gallery’s May-June exhibition, the “Valley Youth Show”, gives us a glimpse inside the minds of our community youth and the opportunity to view the inspiring talents of our emerging young artists. All students in Grades 8-12 being educated in the Bulkley Valley between Hazelton and Houston were invited to contribute to this show.
