While some areas had seen the ban lifted already, the BC Wildfire Service has determined that it is now safe to rescind the ban across the entire jurisdiction.

Along with campfires, the use of tiki torches, chimineas and stoves will also be allowed.

Category 2 and 3 fires, which include any fire larger than half a metre by half a metre, stubble or grass fires, sky lanterns, fireworks, burn barrels and cages, and exploding targets, are still prohibted.
