Some Cariboo Regional District residents can go home after the CRD downgraded the evacuation order for 544 properties to an alert.
The properties are located in the Northern CRD Boundary South to Titetown areas.
While the order has been downgraded, officials say wildfires remain active and firefighting activities continue in the area.
The CRD says It is important for residents to stay out of active wildfire areas and to be prepared in case the area receives a future evacuation order.
Information about what to do when re-entering an area can be found in the CRD’s re-entry information package.
