An evacuation order has been issued for 6 properties in the Whitton Lake area.
Due to immediate risks to the public, RCMP will be evacuating residents via helicopter.
Evacuees are asked to register at the Williams Lake reception Centre at 640 Carson Drive.
The Cariboo Regional District has also issued an evacuation order for one property in the Gotchen Lake area.
