There’s a wind warning for the central coast.
Environment Canada says winds have diminished this morning over Haida Gwaii, however strong southeast winds will continue over the central coast and north Vancouver Island for the next few hours.
Strong southeast winds gusting up to 110km/h ahead of the front will occur into early this afternoon.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
