CFNR to get Aboriginal Business Award

The winners of this year’s BC Aboriginal Business Awards have been announced.

Businesses from the north are well-presented on the awards list, and CFNR is proud to say we’re one of this year’s winners.

CFNR is the Aboriginal Business Partnership of the Year winner, and staff will be at the ABA banquet on October 19th in Vancouver to accept the award.

Greg Smith is the CEO of CFNR and says the recognition means a lot, considering the rough journey to get the company to where it is today.

He adds it’s was a team effort, and especially thanks CFNR’s listeners everywhere.

Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation John Rustad is presenting the awards, and CFNR’s Kiefer Collison is taking on MCing duties.

The BC Aboriginal Business Awards were launched in 2008 to honour and celebrate business excellence.
