Charges laid in Vanderhoof double homicide

Two people have been charged with second degree murder in a Vanderhoof double homicide.

The bodies of 29 year-old Blaine Albert Barfoot and 40 year-old Tara Lee Ann Williams were found dead in mobile home nearly three years ago.

At the time, RCMP said both victims were living what they called a high risk lifestyle and were known to police.

Over the weekend, RCMP arrested 21 year-old Shaun Keith Goodwin of Vanderhoof. Police say a 20 year-old man who was 17 at the time of the offence has also been charged, but his name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and they are still asking for anyone with information in the case to contact Vanderhoof RCMP or Crimestoppers.
