The Christian Heritage Party is taking a tour through northwest B.C.
The small federal party is led by Rod Taylor, a Telkwa resident.
He was elected national leader last November.
Along with Taylor for the trip is Peter Vogel, Deputy Leader of the party.
This is Vogel’s first trip north of Whistler.
Vogel says he’s realistic about his party’s chances at electoral success, but he says yesterday’s sweep by the NDP in Alberta party gives him hope.
Vogel and Taylor will be in Prince Rupert at 6pm at the Moby Dick Restaurant to meet with party members and anyone interested in speaking with them.
