The City of Terrace and District of Kitimat-Stikine have announced the upgrades they will do to the Terrace Aquatic Centre.
The Centre will include a bigger fitness room, a larger pool with features like a lazy river, and water cannon.
It will also include an upgraded pool gutter system, new boilers, and new tile.
The Aquatic Centre is expected to close in February for eight months.
The cost is expected to be over $4-million with the final number to be decided when Terrace City Council start discussions on the 2017 budget next month.
