The City of Terrace is conducting a study on downtown parking.
Director of Development Services David Block, says the study will allow them to better understand downtown parking patterns.
Part of the study will have a contractor go through downtown and scan vehicles throughout the day to find out people’s parking habits.
He says any data collected will be properly disposed of when the study is completed.
Block is encouraging all of the residents to take part in surveys the city will doing in the near future.
The study is worth $60,000 with the province paying for 80% of it.
It’s expected to be finalized in March and then presented to council.
