CNC cracks top 50 research colleges in Canada

The College of New Caledonia has cracked the top 50 of research colleges in Canada, coming in at 48.

CNC Director of Applied Research and Innovation Hardy Griesbauer says it’s the first time that the college has made the list put out by Research Infosource Inc.

While the CNC Research Forest is largely to thank for the growth and success of the Applied Research and Innovation department, Griesbauer says it’s not the only area that CNC pursues research in.

Griesbauer says placement in the top 50 reflects the college’s changing mandate to foster innovation in the local economy while providing students involvement in applied research.
