College of New Caledonia gets $1.2-million in funding

The College of New Caledonia is getting $1.2-million in funding for trades programs.

The province announced the funding today at the CNC campus in Prince George.

In addition to that funding, the college will also get a hydrostatic transmission trainer for the heavy duty mechanical trades program, as well as $72,000 towards introducing high-school and young adults into trades careers through Trades Discovery programs, and another $200,000 to help people with disabilities to access training.
