A college in the north will soon offer students a chance to get into sonography.
The College of New Caledonia will be starting the program in 2018.
CNC president Henry Reiser says this will keep more people up in the north.
The first graduates are expected to come in 2020.
The college also announced they will be moving their campus in Vanderhoof to a new building.
Reiser says the building will be located closer to the centre of Vanderhoof, giving everyone easy access.
It also provides more convenient space for students to properly complete their studies.
He says the announcements help them grow after some tough times.
The province provided $1.7- million for the move. It’s expected to be open in the fall of 2018.
