One person has died following a fatal multiple vehicle collision in Fort Saint James.
RCMP say it happened around 9 a.m. Thursday on Highway 27 near Airport Road.
The crash happened when a southbound logging truck struck another semi causing a chain reaction with a car.
A northbound truck ended up hitting a semi that was pushed into oncoming traffic.
The northbound log truck wounded up in the ditch and caught fire.
One of the truck drivers died at the scene with the two other drivers receiving non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car appears to be uninjured.
The highway in the area is shut down with no detours currently in place.
Weather conditions were described as extremely poor with low visibility and heavy snow.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
