A container ship has been left adrift off the BC coast after an engine fire.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Victoria says the MOL Prestige is approximately 380 km southwest of Haida Gwaii.
Search and rescue crews from 442 Squadron picked up two injured crew member from the stricken vessel and have transported them for medical treatment.
The JRCC continues to monitor the ship as the Canadian Coast Guard vessel Sir Wilfred Laurier makes its way toward the ship.
