An unusual number of spectators filled the room to bid farewell to the current run of Terrace City Councillors during last night’s regular meeting.
The meeting represented the last for Councillors Stacey Tyers and Michael Prevost, both of whome chose not to run for re-election.
Well wishes and relief filled the end of the meeting as Tyers and Prevost each gave closing comments to cap off their runs on council.
First time elects Evan Ramsay, who was on hand for the meeting, and Jessica McCallum-Miller will replace the pair when council next congregates.
The new councillors will officially be sworn in on November 5th.
