RCMP believe driver fatigue is behind a fiery crash north of Williams Lake Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called out to Lyne Creek Road and Highway 97 at 12:44 after a southbound vehicle left the road, rolled down an embankment, and hit a power pole.
The collision knocked down power lines, sparking a fire that consumed the vehicle and then spread to the surrounding area.
All three occupants escaped with minor injuries and were taken to Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
Crews shut down the highway while the BC Wildfire Service tackled the fire, which was kept to under a half hectare.
