RCMP are reporting a deadly few days on BC highways with six fatal accidents, including two in the north.
Mounties say a head-on collision just south of Prince George left one person dead early Monday morning.
Investigators say a northbound pickup crossed the centre line of Highway 97 near Buckhorn Lake Road and collided with a semi.
The driver of the pickup was killed while two passengers in the truck and the semi driver were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Chetwynd RCMP are still investigating a fatal collision from Thursday night that saw a truck leave Highway 29 near Jackfish Lake Road.
The male driver was ejected and killed while his passenger suffered minor injuries.
Police have not ruled out alcohol in that crash.
