The Cariboo Regional District has lifted an evacuation alert that had been in effect for the Narcosli area west of Quesnel.
An order was originally issued for the area due to proximity to the Narcosli Creek fire, which had been downgraded to an alert.
Now, the District has determined the threat level to be low enough to lift the alert entirely.
Those who evacuated the area are asked to return home as soon as possible to make room in emergency centres for other evacuees.
