Terrace RCMP arrested a man who was threatening residents with a crossbow last week.
Police were called to the 3000 block of Old Lakelse Lake Road last Saturday after reports of threats being issued.
They located and arrested the suspect, who was in possession of a crossbow at the time.
The weapon was seized and the man was later released on a promise to appear in court.
