Deceased woman found on Halfway River Reserve in 2015 now believed to be hit and run victim

Police now believe a woman found dead on the Halfway River First Nations reserve near Fort St John in 2015 to be the victim of a hit and run.

The woman was discovered by RCMP on the side of Road 5 on April 5th, 2015 following a report.

There is shockingly little information available regarding the incident, though police believe they now have evidence suggesting a hit and run.

If you have any information you believe to be of assistance, you are asked to contact Fort St John RCMP at 250 787 8140.
