Drivers in the Terrace and Kitimat area can expect areas of near-zero visibility as a dense layer of fog has settled on the region.
Environment Canada has continued a fog advisory for the area with the pea soup-like conditions expected to persist until sometime early Thursday morning.
At least one passenger flight scheduled to arrive at the Northwest Regional Airport from Vancouver late Wednesday was canceled, although specific information was made available.
Drivers are advised to slow down and maintain a safe following distance.
