An inclusive consultant and PhD candidate at UBC is in Prince Rupert discussing how to make sure education is diverse.
Shelley Moore is visiting several communities talking about the new curriculum being implemented and how it can allow a more open education for all students.
She says incorporating First Nations culture is an important step to take no matter where you’re located.
Her talk is open to the public and will be held at Charles Hays Secondary School from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Moore says she looks forward to traveling to other communities and looking at the other perspectives of how to ensure education is an inclusive environment.
